Our story
Founded on the slow hand.
Ettilux is a small maison based in Marrakech, working with fewer than forty families across the High and Middle Atlas.
Chapter I · Origin
Ettilux began in a single riad in the Marrakech medina, with a single loom, and a single question: what would happen if the world's oldest textile tradition met the standards of the world's finest luxury houses?
Twelve years later, we work with weavers in Aït Bouguemez, Boujaad, Khenifra and the villages of the Middle Atlas — the same families who taught our founders how to card, spin and knot. Every rug is signed in silk thread and shipped from our atelier in Marrakech, duty-free, anywhere in the world.
Chapter II · Community
The weavers are the maison.
We pay above-market rates for every rug, provide healthcare for our partner families, and fund a school for their children in the Aït Ourir valley. The name of the weaver appears on every rug we ship.
